About

About Me (& Jane)
I'm Andrea Skowronek, founder of Andrea-Jane. My firm's name honors my grandmother, Jane Skowronek. She was the daughter of Polish immigrants who weathered the Great Depression and lived to 104, passing in 2023. Her grit and humor helped shape who I am today.
My career in healthcare management spans over two decades. I've held key positions at some of New York's most prominent health systems. At Mount Sinai Health System, I was deeply involved in strategic planning and operational improvement. During my time with NYC Health + Hospitals, I led initiatives that reshaped patient care delivery and facility management. These experiences, combined with my Master of Public Health from CUNY, have given me a comprehensive understanding of healthcare's complex landscape.
At Andrea-Jane, I specialize in healthcare facility development, but that's just scratching the surface. I'm in the business of transforming healthcare spaces by merging deep clinical knowledge with razor-sharp operational insights. My diverse background allows me to see projects from multiple angles - from a clinician's perspective, an administrator's viewpoint, and a patient's experience.
Every project I undertake is infused with my grandmother's spirit of determination and innovation. I'm not just aiming to meet industry standards; I'm here to set new benchmarks. My goal is to create healthcare facilities that don't just function well, but truly excel - spaces that impress clients, empower staff, and ultimately enhance patient care. When you work with me, you're getting a partner committed to pushing boundaries and exceeding expectations at every turn.
